39 high-standard city apartments

With the prize-winning masterplan the municipality of Oisterwijk seizes the opportunity to combine a public park with up-market residencies in the middle of the city. +++ The urban layout and the design of 4 'villas' create a large variety of inside-outside relations. The buildings are slightly shifted and rotated with respect to each other in order to create varying views towards the park, the river and neighbouring houses. The apartments have a three-sided orientation with continuous glass partitions along the ceiling. For the interior this conception provides, together with the private loggia and the royal balcony space looking out over the park, a spacious villa feeling for all apartments. +++ The park consists of an ecological carpet with a programmatic layer on top of it: public paths, terraces for the inhabitants and islands for recreation. Here again, a smart spatial conception proves to be the key in managing private and public interests: inhabitants with needs for privacy, luxury and quietness, neighbours with a wish for a view and citizens of Oisterwijk with a need for a public park in their city center.
